Why I started running:
All my life I never thought I could run. Then I broke my ankle in 2009 and rehab'd myself on the treadmill, not only to walk again, but to win the war against the Jiggle Monster. I found C25K which I did twice ... first to find out if I could really do it, then repeated it to prove it to myself that it wasn't a fluke (it wasn't!). I signed up for my first 5K before I could change my mind. I've been in the wind ever since :-D |
