With 3 X 1600 m @ 5K race pace (7:46) Rest between sets. Shawn and Stacy

Mile 1 - 7:32

Mile 2 - 7:15

Mile 3 - 7:30

Toughest workout of the cycle. First mile felt the hardest. Needed to do some short sprints to get my heart rate up before the hard effort. Second mile was tough but I pushed hard. Third mile started slower and built up towards the end which is must better on my system. It doesn't seem to shock it so much.

Overall I'm not happy with this workout, I felt fatigued. Could still be lingering tiredness from the fundraiser. Hoping to feel recovered in time for the race.
