Notes
I thought I was close to a PR. Not the case whatsoever. No excuses
Not ideal start. At conferences, I had an amazing start and was out near the front by the pole. Today, I was like in 10th, so that turned my attitude very negative. 1st mile was about 5:35. Kept letting some people get away from me, but was slowly trying to get them back. I should not have waited. The course may have been in the worst shape I've ever run it in, with headwinds just about the whole way, but I know it was my mental idea of the race that brought me to a 39 second gain. I needed to stay positive, and I failed. I let my team down, and I don't know if I will race again this season.
