Got out early to try to beat the heat. I had hoped to steal Joe's workout and to get some tempo pace into this but the heat was tough so I settled for getting in the target mileage and not worrying about pace. I was able to stick in the shade until mile 10ish. Around mile 11 I tried to accelerate but just didn't have anything in my legs.
Happy to have bumped up a little from 50 this week. Jumping up to 6 runs this week.
Left knee was a little loose for parts of this run and actually buckled slightly as I pushed up the final hills in my neighborhood.
