Culla told me that going hard on this workout could be tough to recover from so I took it very easy on the first 12 miles. I did 1:43:38 for them, which is 8:47 miles. After that I did my 6 miles at R pace. It was tough for me initially to get going - I hit the pace right away but the first mile felt very tough. After that I felt very fast and strong for the remaining 5 miles. Everything felt great and the mile markers just flew by.
