I intentionally ran this one slow, since the previous two days of going out hard have left my legs pretty sore. The soreness went away after a few miles (although it returned later in the evening and into the next day) but I made an effort to stay on a slower pace to try to work some of the lactic acid out. I was looking at 9:15's for the first three miles so I think I did a pretty good job reigning myself in.
