Great race on a good course. I paced Steve Murray for the first 4.5 miles but then had to slow as I knew if I kept going at 7 min mile pace I would blow on the hills from from 5 to 7 miles. I still managed to keep Steve in sight at around 25 to 35 seconds until the water station at 8 miles then I really started to lose ground on him and he showed his training is starting to pay off as he extended his lead out to around a minute to the finish. I'm really happy with the time as this is my first race back, only 3 wks training and my longest run by 2.5 miles since starting back
