why the hell would i pick such an insane hill to do this workout on? i have no clue.

anyway. HOLY EFFING CRAP. i'm actually amazed that my pace came out somewhere close to 3K pace, as they were supposed to be at 3K effort...though it kind of felt like death sprint effort. the first one was actually the worst because it was like every speed related system in my body was being woken up from a long nap. a minute seems like approximately eternity when you're running up a hill that steep...i did use my power hour mix to keep track of time, so that was fun. bottom line: kind of painful, mainly because i'm not used to this sort of stuff. i'm confident it will get better. i was actually quite surprised that i held pace and made it to the same stopping point each interval.

also, was scolded? i think? by an old man for doing a farmer's blow. hehe. :)
