First time running a hard 5k in several years. I'm both pleased and disappointed with this run. I'm happy that I went under 19 minutes, but I'm disappointed that I didn't go under 18. I've been running consistently now for almost a full year and doing >40 miles/week for a while now, so I thought I'd be a tad faster. That said, I haven't done an ounce of speed work, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. Overall, I'm also very pleased that I didn't end up hurting myself again and that I can still push myself relatively hard.
