Very nice out, ran in shorts and a t-shirt for the first time this year. This started as an easy run, just trying to stick under 145 BPM for the whole run. I was anywhere between 140 and 155 depending on terrain, which was fine. When I got to the last mile, though, I felt like I wanted to push it hard, so I took off. I ran about 3/4 of the last mile at near maximum intensity. My HR was about 200 for this period. It felt really good to just let go and not hold back.
