What an awesome day, and an awesome run. I did a long fartlek type workout, 2x2 miles with a 1 mile recovery between the two reps. The 2 mile sessions were at what I thought was around 10k-HM effort, and I ended up doing 12:40 and 12:29 and they felt great. My legs got a bit heavy, but I was very able to keep it up and probably could have stuck another mile onto the end of each rep and still feel fine. I'll definitely keep doing workouts of this nature since long interval/tempo style runs have traditionally been the hardest type for me.
