Really rough day, not a good workout. I was planning 10 x 1000 m at about 6:30 pace with 90 second jog recovery, but it became apparent really quickly that this was not going to happen. Even the first repeat was harder than expected, and by the 3rd or 4th one I was really struggling. I'm not sure exactly what happened, since last week I did 3 x 2 mile in ~6:39 pace with much less difficulty. I guess it's probably just the mileage heading into this, since I did 16.5 on Saturday and 10 on Monday.

On the other hand, my achilles and fracture all felt perfectly fine, so that's something to be pleased about.
