Treadmill

Notes

Today was a hill workout on the treadmill. I started out with 5 minutes really easy followed by 5 minutes pretty easy, and then I got into the repetitions. I did 6 x 1:30 at 7% grade and 8 mph. It felt like 5k effort, or perhaps a bit harder. The incline made my legs feel pretty heavy by the end of each rep, but it wasn't overbearing. I probably could have managed another couple of reps, but I wouldn't have wanted to. I also definitely needed that 2:30 recovery time, as I haven't run this hard in a while.

All in all, I felt good after this workout. I'm interested to see how I feel after doing 3-4 more of these workouts over the next few weeks.
