Notes

First 5k pace workout of the marathon schedule was today's 12x400m workout. Overall it was a good experience. I think I did a good job of keeping it well within my ability and not going too hard because I think it feels better than it does. The last 3 intervals or so I could definitely feel the fatigue, but it was not overwhelimg and I had zero problems finishing this workout on pace. I think ~6:00 pace is a fair reflection of what I could do for 5k on a flat course, so I think this was a good workout. My Achilles were a bit sore at times today, but not terrible. We'll see how they feel tomorrow.
