5x1000 meter workout on the track. Apparently, eating a bagel makes the difference as this workout was much better than last week's. It wasn't any less hard, in fact it was a pretty serious workout, but it was much easier to meet and exceed my goal pace. Recovery intervals were intended to be 2:00 of jogging, which I more or less achieved. I found I can clear 400m decently well in 2:00 so that's what I aimed for.
Super humid in the mornings, I had to take my shirt off and my shorts looked like I had just jumped into a river. During the last interval, they were flapping around like crazy because of how heavy they were with sweat.
