Notes

80 degrees and sunny today, so nice out. First shirtless run for me and i should call it tempo rather than long because we literally did tempo it. The way out on the canal was pretty quick, knouse's garmin said like 625ish and we turned around at 6 miles and nick took offf and killed it back. He gapped all of us pretty quickly and knouse started dropping back pretty quick. So jimmy and russ didnt feel like keeping up the hard pace so they stayed with knouse and me and tyler decided to go after nick. So we picked it up a lottt and tempo-ed the entire way back to catch nick. We were going sub 6 for sure and he was leading it and i was about to drop knowing we have a workout tomorrow but i decided this is more important for racing, i gotta make sure i stay in contact with the guy in front even when im hurting, so i stayed with ty and we finally caught nick with about a mile to go from the bridge and they both were hurting too i could tell and i was finally hitting a groove so i tried to lead it back without slowing down and we pretty much kept the pace all the way back. Definitly a good confidence booster that i'm still in shape after this big break i had, i was having doubts if i was. Still no pain at all from the groin, its like it never existed so thats also great. I am sore but it was definitly worth it, even if i die in the workout tomorrow. I am backkkk and i love it.
