so the actual workout was a "400" workout on the bus circle. Perilli assured us that it was EXACTLY 403 meters even though it was like almost a full loop around the whole thing. He gave the pace at 63 and we run 1:30s. So i just mapped it out and its like 530 meters haha. But my back was really bothering me so perilli told me to go to the trainers after the first one. I went there and ms edwards gave me stretches and stuff and i went back out to try to get some kind of run in. I did a tempo run on my own around the bus circle. I did 4 laps hard, 1 lap easy, 3 laps hard, 1 lap easy, 2 laps hard, and then everyone else was done so i stopped. But i went hard and my back didnt bother me too much. I still felt bad cus this was supposed to be the most important workout we have left and i couldnt do it. After mapping it though and seeing how 4 laps in 7 minutes was really under 5:30 mile pace and the tempo averaged 5:30 comforted me. MORNING PRACTICE TOMORROW :(
