Didnt really want to do this. Bad attitude going in but once we got started i was fine. The time flew by. Felt pretty easy until about 23 minutes in. After that I made it down the hill and stopped at 5 miles. Last Spitz said we started too slow and ended too fast. This time I had that in mind and started at 5:30 pace from the get go. Still might have went too fast at the end, but it was still tempo effort.
Two weird things happened during this one.
Schneider only made it 8 minutes.
When I was done Liam went by to finish his up, and then Ali came trotting down the hill. Keep in mind he has no watch. I thought he was cooling down so I told him I would join him. And he replied I am still tempoing I’m just dead. I told him to stop and he was like did I make the time? Kid needs a watch smh.
