My elapsed race time was 81:something. Hit a wall. First half was flat and downhill, second uphill. Went through 10k in 35. Once I got to the second hill on mile 8 or 9 I just started slowing down and could barley get my legs going. Goal went from sub 70 to just finishing the race.
Figured out on the way to packet pickup I could've been on the invited athletes list. I would have avoided standing in the freezing cold rain for an hour and half. B standard was 32:15, free entry fee, convenient housing, and busing to the start. Oh well. Starting full time Monday.
