Notes
So, at the beginning I had every intention of running with everyone for a while. It's awesome having everyone here. But just something switched in my head. Then my next mile was sub 6 so I just rolled with it. Got into a rhythm and it got kinda tough going up those last 2 hills on deer hound, then I was good for a while, and then I was almost knocked on my ass running up the hills on Dusty.
Got back and heard nothing but criticism (just hear me out). Spitz listed off about three things that I should've done differently.
1) Not drop everyone before the first mile
2) Bring someone with
3) Run at leas the first two miles with the group, hangout, just chill and have some fun
I can take all the criticism in the world, I just need it to be followed with one little positive. So it looked like I stormed off (which I kind of did), but I really needed something to drink. Got back out, had a side convo with Spitz and all the criticism was very constructive, we still agreed it was a killer long run, it was not a waste of a day, but I just should ahve went about it in a slightly different way.
