The Bix never disappoints!
By far my favorite road race. Wanted to run with Eli more, but I wanted to start more conservative. After the first mile I just chilled until the halfway point. After that I started to go a little faster up the slight inclines/hills. Wanted to win my age group, but it's not the end of the world or anything. Mile 5-6 was tough. A group of about 5-6 guys finished right in front of me. Could have caught them, but this is not the race to empty the tank on like I did last year. Afterwords we got a pic with the winners, and holy frick they are awkward, there's about a foot gap in between them. Kalias gave me a garbage bag to put stuff in for the road trip and we got it taken away, so that sucked but whatever. After the race festivities we went to Eli'sfor lunch and to hang. We left an hour behind schedule, so ETA is currently 12:30 am, fml.
