Deloitte has new hires go to a super boujie place called DU for trainings. We got there on Sunday night and stayed through Wednesday. Great food and everything outside of alcohol is free. Think Mensa but 6x better. The only downside is that they kept us busy until 5:30/6 every night so my runs were in the dark. Left campus the first night and hopped multiple fences because of a sweet gravel trail. Second night I just stayed on the main roads.
I mentioned to a facilitator that I left campus to run, and he looked at me like I was nuts and had broken the golden rule.
The second night I walked in the lobby in running shorts and a t-shirt and someone said I shouldn't wear that because it's unprofessional. Whatever, probably won't ever see him again. At least I kept my shirt on until I got off campus.
Long three days ready to get home and get into a routine.
