Nice run, even with difficult footing. Left hip still nagging. Toward the end of my run, they were putting the casket of a deceased serviceman into a hearse at Bedford Chapel which stopped me dead in my tracks. I took off my hat and wept as I watched while they put the casket into the hearse and the honor guard stood at attention with the folded American flag. I don't know who the deceased individual was but, this really humbled me this morning and I am so thankful for the life that I have because of the sacrifices of men such as this.
