Started run with Lindsey and Tammy for first mile and a half. Continued on my long run and they turned back. Took one GU with me and took it at mile 6 and really seemed to help keep me consistent and strong the second half of my run. I thought my pacing was going to be pretty inconsistent, but turned out when I checked it, it was pretty good, which I am continuing to work at. Pace quickened toward end of run and, while my quads just above my knees and my knees began to hurt a bit, I really felt quite good overall. Very happy with todays long run (and it was a beautiful, crisp morning). Here are my mile splits (I have been using Garmin 305 since Monday, 11/26):
