spinters go to middle school, while we stay to do mama's thru the mid school. it's me, marcin, harry matty, chris, andy, aj, rup, ahl, and festa. we stretch and then when festa goes into the school to pee, we leave without him. i was cracking up hysterically and just couldn't control my laughter at all. Festa catches up to us by the time we're midway through charles, calling us all pricks individually. After that, i fall back from the top four, ahl, rup, festa, and marcin, to stay with matty and harry. it's a group of us three and chris by the time we're done with ny. ave, and hoffman. When we reach oak street, aj joins our group, as well as andy who falls back i think. i'm at a comfortable pace now, recovered from my exhaustion due to laughing, and i'm talking with aj going up great neck road. we're talking about the different pains of running (mile stomach sickness, 800m leg exhaustion, mama's pain, 2 mile i don't know what im doing exhaustion, so on and so forth) then about how the runners would shift into groups during runs. Halfway down the road, I'm like, i could be with those four if i wanted to, they're about 300-400m ahead, and somebody says do it, so i just go off. don't know who said it, but aj's like no don't go! don't leave me!, but it's too late. I catch up to them by strong's. after sticking with them for a short while, recover a bit and push ahead to be 10m in front with festa and marcin beside me. Marcin and me enter the competitive mode, and we go back and forth, increasing the pace until i break him. he yields, and i just maintain the pace, gradually increasing the intensity. i soon get a nice lead on the guys behind me though they catch up by the middle school to make it a 100m gap or so, only because the lights slowed me down. i pass thru the mid school wihtout stopping, unlike them, who stop until they get to smawls, who tells them to keep going. i'm first one back, and it didn't feel so bad as i thought it would. my logic was tomorrow im not doing the workout so might as well go fast today, and also, like nooby's advice to that kid, i'm 17 and this is the time of miracles and great risks. Basically:

"Just Do It"

I did.
