jogged the course before the kids arrived (1.67mi?)
added a little extra with the warm-up en masse (about 30 kids) just before the first race started. probably added another two-three miles of "fartlek" during all four races.
coolidge boys had an awesome front-five pack to score just 65 points (well ahead of 2nd-place) to top the 28 team field!!! parker boys managed a solid 15th with a bunch of sixth-graders only (all the 7th and 8th-graders were away on field trips). coolidge girls finished a very respectable 6th/28.
