warm-up and cool-down
1mi @ home on the dreadmill
2mi+ with the whirlaway "brats" around new bedford before the race
2mi VERY slowly (about 10:00/mile...) afterwards, mostly solo, perfectly timed the finish down to the YMCA race-headquarters as I met the angry chickens of greater lowell finishing up their cool-down. took a nice hot-shower, then off to the pub.
