I'm so not in the shape that I was this spring... Still felt great to get out on the trails again. Took it fairly easy for most of the first loop. Picked up the tempo for loop #2 and pushed the up hills (especially Bear Hill, Gerry Hill, Lower Reservoir and the Middle Reservoir hills). Got stopped by a ranger at the lower dam... WTF?!? I really don't understand where it's "okay" to run and where it's not...or more importantly "why" I can't run there... Had to take a mini detour at the middle reservoir land-bridge when I saw the truck again, then I had to hammer the next mile to get out of sight when he turned around... Good workout/run overall.
LOVE the Hoka's.
