hills and hank... raced home to get the workout in before the kids got home. ended up having a little more time than i'd expected, so i could've cooled down a little longer. oh well. solid workout. felt like i was really struggling by the end of 2.5miles so i adjusted the planned incline a little (down 1%) and dropped the pace 0.1mph a couple extra times over the final mile. had to steady myself with the rail a couple times more than i would've liked... felt like i was going to puke at the end... i would definitely prefer to do a practice run up the auto-road like the guys that live up in the whites... one of these years, i'm going to plan a late may / early june trip up to jackson.
30 seconds slower than last year, but nearly 1:30 faster than two years ago (similar time-frame between VCM and the mountain). so... 66:34 and 73:24 for the races following those time trials indicates a predicted... 68-69 minutes this year...
