Saw the doctor today. She proclaimed my hip/back troubles to be the result of an irritated sciatic nerve caused by sitting on my wallet. I don't know how much stock I'm putting in this diagnosis, but it's what I've got. Actually I feel pretty doubtful about the whole diagnosis and treatment because she hardly did anything other than listen to my symptoms.
I'll give it another couple days and see if it feels any better. I suppose I should continue taking motrin even though that will only mask whether I'm actually getting better or not.
