On paper this one looks quite good - low HR and solid pace for a long easy run. Legs felt heavy most of the way, hips tight (right one more so) and the wind was quite annoying - gusty and seemingly changing directions (some brutal wind tunnels around buildings).

Started off with an errand to the grocery store and made the mistake of getting a full gallon of milk and almost 4 lbs of bananas...the run back home was way too hard.

Practiced fueling again today - honey/pb mix starting just after 5 miles in. The slow/steady intake seems to work well (only 2 attempts so far) and the pace seemed to jump up after with a couple of those miles feeling pretty strong - a hip stretch helped as well.

Overall this one was a grind but happy with the results. With 2 harder sessions in the last several days and a solid leg workout it makes sense. I'll have to be careful with these as the need for extra recovery threw off my schedule and lifting this week.
