Original plan was 14 easy but slightly strained my hip flexor yesterday while climbing with Orin - Knee and quad not happy yesterday either and only noticed about the same time as the flexor felt grumbly.

Legs and hips felt really fatigued the first few miles (maybe from massage/rolling). After a stretch break things improved elsewhere and ache/fatigue was limited to right flexor. Added a few more stretch breaks and was able to piece together an ok overall outing - took a longer break at 8 and was able to then finish with only a mild ache - more notable on hills or if I picked up the pace.

HR was jumpy today - but quite a bit warmer than I'm used to so definitely a factor. Breathing was probably also impacted by hip flexor as it didn't feel smooth/deep.

A bit of work after the run and some grumpy spots above and below pelvis but later in the day things feeling pretty ok - tried a run back from dumpsters at a quick turnover and zero discomfort....encouraging!

Took along water and fuel but didn't see a point in eating anything so saved it for next week and stayed fasted. Carrying water is annoying
