Tried to keep track of some splits to so I can gauge my tempo...with all the tracks snowbound and my absentmindedness tracking times at certain points, I'm gauging my tempo on perceived effort and I'm not good at it. Went out today without a clear, set idea of the distance. If I make up the distance as I go, I normally come in short and I did again. Need to just stick a number in my craw and I'll actually go until I hit it..
