Notes

Period started this morning. 11 a.m. difficult start time for me. Ate breakfast before yoga; white cheddar and some nuts 40 minutes before race. Ate some possibly expired sports beans around Mile 8(?). Had a slice of Papa John's ham pizza post race. Eventual GI repercussions.

Didn't mean to start so fast, but didn't feel that fast. Just kept up pace as I could. Wanted to break two and did, but a little disappointed in time. Did not expect to place at based on past years' results and especially with that time, but it's all about who shows up.

Nice course. Running on one-lane asphalt much of way, but very woodsy.
