Notes
The temperature was perfect. I found my mojo almost immediately. Terrific run.
Everyone was so friendly, possibly inspired by the good weather.
I said hello to a runner in North Point Park as our paths converged. A moment later, something touched my left butt cheek. I looked down, and apparently her dog had caught up and was sniffing me as we ran along. I said, "I didn't realize you weren't alone!"
I don't usually like to pause during a run, but today I stopped to look at the harbor seals spinning gracefully through the water and looking back at me with their huge soft eyes. This woman and I reached the corner of the tank at the same moment and shared a moment.
I saw puppies playing and another dog thrashing joyfully on a lawn.
Ran up and down the steps at JFK for my turnaround spot.
Meanwhile, Aime's completing her marathon on Kiawah Island.
