Was able to pump out the 3 miles today without any knee pain, though it felt like it was right there, on ready to leap on me if I took one bad step. I notice that my stride has changed, I'm taking smaller steps and I'm now striking with the mid-foot more instead of the heel. Ultimately, I think that's a good thing. It would be funny if I became a more biomechanically efficient runner because of this knee injury.
These shoes are too narrow, gave me blisters on my instep on each foot. Weird, I didn't have that problem the first time I wore them. I'm going to wear the Brooks next time, then maybe give these asics another shot. I don't think it'll help if I lace them looser, though...
