Ravenswood 5k - 15:56
Woot! New Road PR! Very solid run today. Nothing amazing, just strung together 5k of good running. Went out intelligently with Kristen, which kept me much more relaxed at the start, pushed a little on that second mile, and tried chasing people in that last mile. Went out around 20th, and wound up catching a few guys, mainly in the 2nd and 3rd miles. Caught Pat with around 800 to go, only for him to pass me back with 50m to go on the last straight. Kinda annoyed about that, this is the second straight race he's done that. On the other hand, he's a much better runner at anything under 10k versus me, and the fact that I'm almost pipping him is pretty darn good. Only 30" behind Matt and 25" behind Jeff. Kristen had a great race, breaking 16! Weather was great, had a nice post-race brunch at Katelyn's.
