My quads feel like shattered glass. I bit off more than I could chew after not cycling for the last 2 months. It was all I could do try and keep up with my 63-year-old partner Tom. Just the 2 of us this morning. Wimpy Cyclists! Weather was perfect - 50 and overcast - no rain. Saw several gaggles of wild turkeys, egrets along the river, and the confluence up at Chain of Rocks bridge. All new territory for me. Longest ride I've done to date and I'm definitely feeling it.
I plan to sit on my butt for the remains of the day...
