holy crap i can't believe my pace! My goal was 11:00-11:30 miles. Well, my slowest mile was mile 1 - 10:44. I got FASTER from there - literally, my fastest two miles were the last two:
Mile 1 - 10:44
Mile 2 - 10:18
Mile 3 - 10:12
Mile 4 - 10:13
Mile 5 - 9:59
Mile 6 - 10:08
I felt SO GREAT the whole time. At different points I thought 'I'd better slow a bit or I'll be struggling at the end...' but I never felt like I needed to so I just went with it. I feel like a physical change has happened - this could literally be the energy I'm getting from quitting meat and dairy. It has been over 2 months now. Everything feels better - joints, flexibility, stamina, etc. I think eating plant-based is actually giving me more energy. Unbelievable. Who AM I?
