Easy/recovery miles of 10 mile run. Five of them tempo-ish. My experiment to run a 35 mile week with no quality, then 3X35 mile weeks with 2 quality workouts, then a 30 mile week with 2 quality workouts REPEAT failed. The quality run was slower than I wanted.

Fast pace of 10 mile run. The heart rate average came to 159 which is marathon pace. I guess that is not too bad. The first three miles heart rate was 148, 154, and 160. Last two went above tempo - 166 and then 167. That is a good progression though. Last June run 2009.
