first lap: decided to go with first group to see if I could hang despite weakened state from stomach virus
no issues with first lap....we actually held back quite a bit and still were faster than 18:00 goal
second lap: less than 1/2 mile into 2nd lap I sensed trouble...my calfs began to cramp....could not keep up with group and decided to just try and beat the first lap time if I could....by the end I was almost shuffling to get in....actually surprised I made it in 15 seconds faster than 1st lap
