Mandy ran with me and helped pace me. The first 8 miles or so felt so good! I felt like I really could have pushed my pace. However, I knew I had to save my energy for the end. I used ucan before and honey stinger gummies in between (round miles 4 qnd 8). I also had tailwind in my water bottle. I didn't use any water stops. I should have taped my knee because around mile 8 and 11 I started having pain. This was by far the best race I have ever ran. I was so proud of my pacing and my time. Best race ever!!
