Well I ran a better 800 at sectionals last year. I wouldn't say I was expecting the 4x800 to be able to go down but I thought we would be a lot closer than we were. It was just tough because we were running alone. I dont really know what to else to say.
So this season was really not what I expected at all. At the beginning of the season I really thought that this season would be terrible. I thought that I had no chance of making a conference/sectional 4x800. I didn't even want to run at the start of the season the only reason I kept going was for the team. It was just hard to enjoy what I was doing when I had no confidence left. I just kept thinking I had no chance at doing anything. Honestly, my only goal in the 800 was to go under 2:10 and to try to stay ahead of Isaac. I think I owe a big thankyou to Isaac because I don't know what my effort would have been without the fear of losing to a freshman. So to say the least I was really proud when I made this 4x800 sqaud. I am now 1 for 4 in running.
Thanks everyone for these two years of running I wish I could have more with this crew.
