Notes
I got second place in the open. I went out too slow I went out in 5:41 then I closed the last 1.05 in 5:42 but I was really far back from the guy in 1st till the last 400 I took off and when I got to him he just had a little more than me to close with. So my plan was to start killing it at the 1 mile but I never got a 1 mile split then someone yelled at me less than 800m left and I was like oh gosh but then I just tried to go and I made up a pretty big gap but it wasnt enough. When I heard 800 jamie had like 10 seconds on me and the guy in first had like 15 and I thought they were going to beat me, but I dont know I just decided it was go time and got jamie then I was like side by side with the dude in first and he just had a little bit more than me. I think that I can go out in 5:40 for my 3 mile now though I felt pretty good going into the 2nd mile.
