Notes

I wanted to go through my routine for next Sundays race. I got up at 4:30 AM ate breakfast two pieces of toast with PB and then two oatmeal cookes, drank 1 gatorade. Ate a gu at 6:15.

I did a little test run for a quarter of a mile to see how the knee felt and knew I was going to have some sort of issue with them. They are feeling better. I figured hey I am up I might as well stick with the plan. So as I am driving down to Staples I start to ask myself why am I doing this. Is this because I need it or because mentally I feel I need this. So at Reed Hartman Highway I get off and go back home. Since I am up and mostly just worried about my fitness level at this point I took a cycling class. I think the class was just what I needed. Even though my heart rate was not as high as I would have liked I don't think I hurt the knee anymore. I think I need one or two more of these classes before the race to keep my mental side of the game high.
