Ran first mile with Army buddy Ryan, who wanted to work on his pacing for the APFT two mile run. After one mile he told me to go ahead, so I stepped it up. I wanted to run two sub-7:00 miles, but I didn't quite have it in me. Still, pleased with my effort, after a 1 mile, 9:10 warm-up.
Nice race here in Columbia, SC - the Ray Tanner Home Run 5K, finishing with a run across home plate at Carolina Stadium. Fun stuff.
