Notes
My first run across the Mississippi, and first run across the Stone Arch Bridge. Amazing views of downtown running across the river into Minneapolis. I'll be a frequent Stone Arch Bridge runner. And besides the views, I also appreciated the U of M student, who was clearly up all night partying, cheering me on as I ran past his apartment. ;-)
The run itself was hard. My legs hurt sometime before mile two, I got a wicked stitch in my shoulder just after mile five, and I was just plain hurting coming up the Como Avenue hill on my last mile. Still, this was hard, this was hurt, but in a good way. I look forward to the day when an eight miler is an easy day ...
