Notes

Yes!!! I had such an amazing run today! It totally made my day. I was so so happy. I raised my hands with a big smile and Thanked Jesus.

Pre consumption: oatmeal w/ honey; double tea bag yerba mate, honey shot

I got up at 7:20 and ran an hour and 15min after getting up. the great thing was when I first started my right calf and left para-formis weren't hurting that bad like it ususally does when i first start running. started off real nice and easy. I actually had more of a plan doing this run, which helped me run better this time too. I planned it but running about 10sec faster every 2mi to where i would get down to at least goal MRP (6:15-20). mi 9 got a little slower b/c thats where the incline and the hill was for about a half mile. I did my Oregon Trail route and added on by going thru past Blue Heron. the distance worked out perfect also, finishing at church, not knowing the actual distance before hand. God is so good!!

i took a couple sips of my half and half gatorade/water in my camelback every 2mi. right before mi 14, i took 3 Clif block shots. my pain was very minimal which didn't bother me at all. the weather was perfect. it was sunny the whole time but still cool. probably started at about 60-65 degrees and maybe to 70 degrees. it was very bearable and pleasant :). i'm so glad i had a great run today. it totally made up for the last long run i had :) i could just feel my face grinning b/c i was feeling so good and running good pace and there where times i let out big smiles >=)

i didn't feel worn out afterwards either. i stretched and took my Recoverite and whey mixed in together w/ water. when i was worshipping, i wasn't that tired. legs just a little sore.

I AM SO READY FOR CHICAGO BABY!!!!!
