pre-race consumption: oatmeal w/ blueberries, 2 bag yerba mate, shot of honey; 5hr Energy shot
Easy 2 mi warm-up for the Women's Eugene Half Marathon. i wasn't really nervous much at all and the day before until i got to the race site, i got real nervous. was trying to envision myself in the race a little bit. wasn't feeling tired. i got a pretty good sleep for a night before a race. the day before i put on Ultimate healing cream during the drive up and a little before i went to bed i put in KT tape for my left IT Band, plantar fasciitis. the morning of the race, i put KT tape on for my right calf. these are all the spots where i've had most of my pain going lately. i wanted to be really safe and put it all on.
