Workout: Progression Run 13mi - get up to 155-160 HR
Ran in Ashland today. my HR was reading high for a bunch of time. felt ok starting. still feeling the calf muscle pain. i was looking forward to running with Holly but wasn't really looking forward to the run itself. i ended up stopping walking for almost a mile, then started running again. i started running descent pace and the end of the run it was getting harder, feeling tired and legs like the outside thigh area so i backed off. the strong wind didn't help either. the weather kept changing from sunny to cloudy, cold, back and forth. i knew it was a progression run, but to be quite honest, i really didn't care. i know there's something wrong with my running and training, being over trained and i am going to take a break!!!
